Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital (NVRH) is a leading healthcare facility committed to providing high-quality services to our community. Our Medical Staff Office (MSO) is actively seeking a part-time experienced Administrative Assistant to join our skilled team.

Responsibilities:

As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide administrative support to the Medical Staff Office by performing an array of diversified administrative functions using your excellent organizational skills. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Establishes and supports departmental calendars, scheduling and coordination of meetings and facilities (food services, room bookings, agendas and minutes).
  • Maintains on-call schedules and changes, updates website information and communicates with other departments as necessary.
  • Participate in various projects including data entry, updating documents, verifying information, creating and maintaining files in online databases and systems.

NVRH is located in St. Johnsbury in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. We are a community, not-for-profit, acute care, critical access hospital. The organization provides primary and preventive care, surgical and specialty services, inpatient and outpatient care and 24-hour, physician-staffed emergency services. To thrive in this role, you must have at least one year of general clerical experience in a healthcare setting. Must be able to communicate clearly, perform typing, filing, scanning, and recording keeping. A basic understanding of medical terminology and the ability to maintain confidentiality is required.
