About the roleFinding better ways to provide the materials the world needs.Join our dynamic team as an Administrative Assistant, playing a pivotal role in supporting our Copper Operations team in Salt Lake City. The successful candidate will provide high-level administrative support to the Copper Operations, Leadership Team, assisting in the smooth and efficient operation of the executive office. We’re on the lookout for a proactive problem-solver with outstanding communication skills and an unwavering attention to detail. In this ever-evolving executive landscape, we value assistants who bring flexibility, foresight, and a commitment to confidentiality while efficiently managing logistics for senior-level systems and operations.Reporting to the Executive Assistant to COO and working in a collaborative environment, you will be:

  • Fosters a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Manage complex calendars, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for senior leaders.
  • Act as a primary point of contact and liaison between the leaders and internal/external stakeholders, demonstrating professionalism and discretion in all interactions.
  • Prepare and edit correspondence, presentations, reports, and other documents with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Organize and coordinate meetings (across global time zones), conferences, and special events, ensuring all logistical arrangements are handled efficiently.
  • Maintain confidential files and records, exercising discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of meeting agendas, materials, and follow-up actions, tracking deadlines and ensuring timely completion.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Copper Operations team, including processing expense reports, and handling special requests

What you’ll bringTo be successfully considered for this role, these skills and qualifications will be needed:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an administrative support role, preferably supporting senior management.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Proactive attitude, with a strong sense of initiative and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
