Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide support to the Vice President, Commercial Financial Services and Vice President Business Markets. You must be organized, flexible and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment that is results-driven and partnership-oriented. Using a high degree of judgment and discretion, you will work independently to prepare correspondence, respond to calls and emails and manage calendars to maximize the Vice President’s time and productivity.What will you do?

  • Complete a broad variety of administrative tasks for the Vice President including: managing extremely active calendars, completing expense reports; composing and preparing correspondence that is often confidential; arranging complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas; compiling documents for meetings; organizing and planning bank and community events
  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external partners
  • Plan, coordinate and ensure the Vice President’s schedule is followed and respected
  • Research, prioritize, and follow up on incoming issues and concerns including discreet handling of issues that are sensitive or confidential
  • Work closely with the Commercial leadership team on various special projects as required

What do you need to succeed?Must-have

  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point), Adobe Acrobat, and Social Media web platforms
  • Demonstrated proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability
  • Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including staff, clients, external partners and donors
  • Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail
  • Highly resourceful team-player, with the ability to also be extremely effective independently

Nice-to-have

  • Bachelor’s Degree or related experience in the financial services industry
  • Recent branch experience would be considered an asset
