Job Description:Finance Modernisation AdministratorDo you have experience as a department administrator?If you are organised, professional, have good interpersonal skills and are able to work confidently on your own and with a Management team, we have the role for you!About the teamOur Finance team is very friendly and welcoming – we are a passionate and forward thinking bunch who work hard and are true advocates of Next and the values that we hold as well as being true advocates of the NEXT brand!This role will be joining the Finance Modernisation team at our Head Office in Enderby, Leicestershire who are currently working on a high profile Finance transformation programme .About the roleThe successful candidate will provide day to day administrative support to the Finance Modernisation team and will be based in the office.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Managing diaries for both internal and external meetings including setting up meetings via Google Calendar
  • Supporting managers by taking notes and capturing actions during meetings
  • Managing meeting room calendars and ensuring meeting rooms are kept clean and tidy and all equipment is in working order – a contact point for Facilities / IT including issues with equipment
  • Managing and responding to correspondence and emails in a timely and professional manner
  • Assisting in the preparation of reports and documents.
  • Maintaining an organised filing system for both physical and digital programme documents
  • Arranging onsite, offsite meetings and department away days.
  • Assisting with travel arrangements
  • Supporting the onboarding of new starters
  • Completing department admin
  • Liasing with other PA’s and admin teams from the business and third parties
  • Monitoring and managing relevant inboxes and calendars
  • Ordering stationery and other equipment/consumables when required
  • Overseeing general housekeeping of the departments / office space

  • Clear and confident communicator – not afraid of challenging the norm
  • Strong PC skills (specifically Excel and Google)
  • High levels of confidentiality, tact and diplomacy
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Experience of working as a PA or Administrator
