The incumbent shall provide coordinator and administrative support to the Edmonton Branch.Duties & ResponsibilitiesSPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Generates purchase orders, invoices, and forwards to finance for payment.
  • Assists Operation Manager with coordination of facility maintenance and documentation.
  • Coordinate Employee Training
  • Member of the HSE Committee and document and circulate meeting minutes
  • Updating and maintaining equipment calibration and records for branch
  • Orders office and shop supplies including sales brochures and catalogs.
  • Tracks and maintain employee’s attendance records.
  • Scanning of Completed Repair Documents to System
  • Coordinate and support Customer Training Courses.
  • Generates reports as required (documents, spreadsheets, presentations, graphs, notices, downloads images and scans documents) and any data entry as required
  • Files packing slips and related documents, sort and process mail.
  • Prepares bills for authorization and forwards to Accounts Payable.
  • Answers phones and direct calls accordingly.
  • Orders lunches, set up for customer training courses, assist with employee luncheons and corporate events.
  • Performs other duties as required.

  • High school diploma or higher
  • 1-5 years of administrative or coordinator work experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, preferably strong skills using Excel.
  • Excellent organizational and customer service skills

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to sit for extend periods of time;
  • Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the office, shop, warehouse, or manufacturing plant.
  • Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds and carry up to 20 pounds.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work environment is within our Edmonton, AB location during normal or extended business hours to include office and manufacturing plant.

  • Approved PPE is required when on the factory floor.
