Reporting to the Project Manager, the Administrator(s) will be responsible for administrating, managing and supporting all phases of the Health Technologies programme in line with the published processes. The Administrator will have a portfolio of projects that they take administrative lead for, including support for public committee meetings and operational activities. They will work in an operational team alongside Programme and Project Managers, Coordinators and Administrators on projects and centre-wide activity areas such as process development.

  • Provide efficient and effective administrative and secretarial support to team members, including preparing correspondence and papers, collating, copying and distributing papers and managing diaries.
  • Ability to co-ordinate and prioritise work on different projects to meet deadlines which may be conflicting.
  • Ability to communicate confidently with individuals at all levels both within and outside the organisation, applying the appropriate use of tact and persuasive skills as appropriate.
  • Knowledge of work procedures to manage routine office tasks, such as records management, diary management and facilitating meetings.
  • Deal with day-to-day enquiries by email, phone, and letter referring to other members of the team as appropriate.
  • Provide administration support for committees and/or groups relevant to the projects for which you have responsibility.
  • Plan and organise activities and own day-to-day work
  • Experience of introducing, developing, and maintaining systems and administrative procedures
