We offer beef and lamb products ranging from retail ready cuts for butchers’ counters to branded packaged meat, all as part of our service; raised on open pastures, sourced from local farmers and hand-selected by our master butchers, we produce beef and lamb products with integrity and unmatched quality assurance.We are currently recruiting for an Administrator to work in our Lamb Boning Department in Merthyr Kepak. This is a full time, permanent job working Monday to Friday from 6.00am to 4.00pm with a salary of between £11.94 to £12.94 depending on experience.Requirements:Job Tasks:

  • Data Management and Reporting – Update daily data sets to track production output, plan variances, and yield cash variances to PDP (Production Data Platform). Maintain margin files and update variances to provide visibility into financial performance.
  • Schedules and Meetings – Participate in and document various weekly meetings, including margin meetings, pulse meetings, and SC and Ops meetings. Support primary reviews and PDP review meetings on Fridays to analyse progress and performance.
  • Production and Financial Tracking – Update PDP vs. Plan vs. Produced reports daily to track actual performance against targets. Review and input adjustments to track wages, labour forecasting, and margin management. Double-check and approve wages, including holiday calculations, to ensure accuracy.
  • Continuous Improvement – Identify and help resolve data input issues to streamline reporting and improve data accuracy. Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production and reduce variances.
  • General Administrative Support – Coordinate with the team for labour forecasts and weekly updates. Provide additional administrative support as required to assist the boning hall’s operational efficiency.
