This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home.
This new part-time post is available from immediately on a fixed term basis until the 31st July 2024.
Summary of the role
We are seeking an experienced administrator to support all aspects of the planning and delivery of the training programme. The programme covers not only training on specific languages, such as Python, R, and Unix/Linux, but additionally incorporates training relating to good practise and reproducible working methods. Now in the second year of delivery, we are expanding the programme of training to meet the growing need for these skills from staff, with a strong focus on making the delivery sustainable and scalable in the longer term. The successful applicant will work closely with the programme coordinators, Dr Eilis Hannon and Dr Fliss Guest to ensure the smooth operation of the programme and to ensure a good experience for participants.
