To work in Exeter/Eastern area of Devon. Office base Exeter. Hybrid working available – but the expectation is that there is regular office attendance.The post holder will:be part of the Nursing and Quality Directorate for NHS Devon Integrated Care Board (ICB) their aim will be to improve the quality of care and value for money of services commissioned for individuals who are the responsibility of NHS Devon ICB.play a key role in supporting the Continuing Healthcare (CHC) service across Devon. Working within the remit of the current National Framework for NHS Continuing Healthcare and NHS-funded Nursing Care.provide business support, administrative leadership and general office management to deliver a high quality, comprehensive administrative service.ensure the smooth running of the Continuing Healthcare Team by providing leadership and supervision to the admin team and support to the clinical team. They will have a strong administrative background with good organisational skills, excellent telephone manner and experience of work allocation and prioritisation. They need to be enthusiastic, motivated, with strong communication and excellent customer care skills.be responsible for their own workload, including having responsibility for personnel administration. Will supervise and allocate work to staff in lower bands and will be responsible for day to day management of a group of staff.Main duties of the jobWork within a dynamic team, delivering an effective service as part of the NHS Continuing Healthcare team. The post holder must have basic knowledge and experience of working within the health sector or Social Care sector.Supervision and complete appraisals of Admin StaffAllocation and management of cases requiring assessments by the CHC Nurse AssessorsCreating panel lists, reviewing progress and performance including monitoring informationPrioritise incoming and outgoing informationDiary managementHR for the Clinical and Admin TeamsOrganise and prioritise your own daily activities and tasksPlan and organise meetings with other teams, professionals, agencies etcAllocating work to the admin team and assist in developing improvements and introducing changes to the admin teamCompleting minutes for panel and safeguardingProduce reports for the Lead Nurses and CCGAbility to learn new computer systemsAbout usNHS Devon Integrated Care SystemAs an Integrated Care System (ICS), we recognise now more than ever that we can only provide the care that people really need by working together. - Educated to NVQ 3 level in a relevant subject or equivalent level of qualification or significant equivalent previous proven experience
