Who you areYou are a professional who is excited to join our fast-growing organization. As Administrator, Treasury, you will work closely with Treasury team members and play a critical role in supporting the accuracy and integrity of our financial records by supporting all treasury related functions and activities. You will collaborate closely with various departments and practices to ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial information.This is a hybrid opportunity based out of Dentalcorp’s Toronto Support Centre and will report into Senior Manager, Treasury.In this role, you will

  • Support daily bank account management activities, request closure of bank accounts, support bank account access and setup.
  • Provide direct practice support for cheque scanners, merchant fee accounts, direct deposit bank letters and requests for additional deposit books and bags.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis as required to support strategic decision-making, and proactively provide advice and input to management.
  • Collaborate with Analyst, Treasury on daily collection reporting activities.
  • Initiate Blackline update, report, and review processes including overall open variance reporting, and entries.
  • Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures.
  • Identify, investigate, document, and make recommendations for management, internal audit, compliance, and legal departments.
  • Participate in financial audits and provide necessary documentation and support to internal and external auditors.
  • Coordinate insurance certificate requests for company activities and events.
  • Successfully perform other tasks, reports and activities as assigned from time to time.

What we’re looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Administrator, preferably with a focus on treasury and general ledger activities.
  • Understanding of business support, accounting principles, treasury operations, risk management, control and compliance, data integrity, and financial analysis.
  • Experience in banking processes and cashflow reporting, with an emphasis on process improvement and optimization in all areas of work.
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen attention-to-detail and ability to derive meaning and make recommendations based on facts and evidence.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and financial software applications e.g., Netsuite.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, collaborative collegial and highly communicative team-based environment.
  • Communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders & affect change.
  • Professional discretion, trustworthiness with demonstratable ethical integrity.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) and Blackline is desirable.
