The Faculty of Humanities is one of three faculties in the University of Manchester and consists of four Schools that offer an unprecedented range of innovative programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate level.The Faculty is looking to appoint a full-time Admissions Administrator on a permanent basis.The post holder will:

  • Take responsibility for the administration of all processes relating to admissions and oversee the work of Admissions Assistants within a School-facing Admissions Team.
  • To support a culture of excellent service provision and continuous improvement, placing the student experience at the heart of what we do with support for a single PS team working flexibly across organisational boundaries.

The successful candidate should have relevant knowledge and experience, including Student Admissions policies and procedures; experience of working in a team environment within a large organisation, with the ability to be flexible and provide support for colleagues; and good digital literacy skills with experience of, or willingness to be trained in Admissions systems.Furthermore, they must be prepared to undertake work outside regular office hours including weekends as necessary.
