Job description
We currently have a vacancy for an enthusiastic, qualified social worker with 3-5 years of experience to work as part of our children’s protection team in East London. The start date for the role is 13/03/2024.
With the ability to work on their own dedicated caseload, the successful applicant will also demonstrate excellent communication skills and be keen to advance their experience and reputation in the sector.
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Taking appropriate action in conjunction with partner agencies, alongside monitoring, reviewing and reassessing existing care services.
- Devising individual care plans and assessing, monitoring and reviewing existing social care needs.
- Conducting interviews with individuals and families, assessing and reviewing their situations and writing reports which meet specified standards and timescales, in some cases for subsequent legal action.
We also require candidates to be HCPC registered with a social work or other professional qualification (e.g. DipSW, CQSW, BASW) plus excellent knowledge of relevant legislation and an understanding of the philosophies and legal framework of professional social work.
