You will
- Provide clinical leadership for primary care team; made up of a variety of registered and non-registered professionals
- Act as a role model ensuring professional appearance and maintaining professional standards at all times.
- Work with the team to ensure; patient safety, the management of complex cases and ensure the most up to date treatment methodology is applied to patient care.
- Be accountable for your practice including the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and discharge or referral of patients, independent of medical intervention.
- Share your experience and knowledge by being involved in the educational and professional development of the nursing team through clinical supervision sessions both on the wings and formal teaching opportunities.

- Registered NMC Nurse – Adult or Mental Health
- Independent/supplementary prescriber qualification
- MSc in Advanced Practice
- Experience working autonomously as an advanced clinical practitioner
- Evidence of implementation of local and national policies
- Experience demonstrating high levels of clinical expertise in decision making and judgement
