Job DescriptionAltaGas – Coordinator, Terminal Operations – RIPETYou will be responsible for maintaining and supporting all operations responsibilities and managing shift teams in Terminal Operations. A focus on vessel requirements, process safety management, process troubleshooting, coordination, and safety onsite will be paramount, as will supporting EHS policies, processes, rules, and regulations. This position will work hand in hand with the Operations team to support Operational procedures and processes regarding the facility, Offloading Rack, and Vessel Loading Operations.This opportunity involves working a 14-day shift schedule, followed by 14 days off.You will:

• Comply with and execute EHS policies and processes during all operational activities, ensuring adherence by both Operations staff and contractors.
• Plan, monitor, and execute training programs for Operations staff in alignment with Superintendents to ensure competency.
• Supervise and coordinate overall Terminal Operations to meet customer requirements, operational procedures, and EHS policies.
• Assist in continuous improvement efforts with the Terminal Manager and Superintendents, including performance monitoring and KPI analysis.
• Support emergency operations and vessel loading during off hours and weekends as needed.
• Coordinate and support asset management and project planning, including maintenance, inventory management, and engineering tasks.

You have:

• High School Diploma/GED required
• 5+ Years experience in Gas Plant or Terminal Operation, with proven leadership abilities
• Minimum 4th Class Power Engineering certificate;
• Will be required to obtain Rail Training certificate & MFSO (Marine Facility Security Officer) certificate
• Proficiency in the use of Windows-based applications
• Exposure to EHS management systems, PSM systems such as Maximo, will be considered an asset

Compensation:We offer a competitive salary from 122,000 to 148,000 per year, commensurate with experience, education, and skills. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.Where you’ll be working:The Ridley Island Propane Export Terminal is located on Ridley Island near Prince Rupert, British Columbia, on a section of land leased by Ridley Terminals Inc. from the Prince Rupert Port Authority.
