CARE is seeking a dedicated Analysis and Operations Support Coordinator (AOSC) to join our dynamic Security, Operational Access, and Risk (SOAR) team. About the Role
This role is open to a countries that CARE is registered and will be on a local contract.
As the AOSC, you will be a cornerstone of CARE’s Virtual Security Operations Centre (VSOC), driving incident response, security analysis, and travel safety operations. You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth delivery of global security services while coordinating across regions to support our teams worldwide. This position is ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives in high-stakes, fast-paced environments.
Key Responsibilities
1. Incident and Crisis Management Coordination
- Act as the first responder to incidents or crisis events, ensuring timely and accurate communication with global stakeholders.
- Support crisis management teams by gathering, analyzing, and disseminating critical information to aid decision-making.
- Log and document incidents meticulously to enable post-incident learning and process improvement.
- Enhance VSOC systems by contributing to digitalization initiatives and training team members.
2. Reporting and Analysis
- Monitor global events and assess potential risks to staff, operations, and reputation.
- Produce analytical reports, threat assessments, and scenario analyses to inform leadership decisions.
- Develop training materials and strengthen regional and country office capacities in analytical best practices.
- Manage and update key resource platforms like SharePoint and CSU Standards Library.
3. Travel Risk Management
- Provide operational support to ensure staff safety during travel and events, coordinating risk assessments and guidance.
- Oversee travel authorization systems, processing requests, and issuing travel advisories.
- Plan and implement safety measures for organizational events and conferences.
4. Ad-Hoc Projects
- Support workshops, team meetings, policy development, and representation initiatives as needed, utilizing your skills to enhance team objectives.

We’re seeking candidates with a passion for safety and a commitment to CARE’s values. If you meet the following qualifications, we’d love to hear from you:
- Education & Experience: A degree in international relations, conflict studies, security risk, or related fields, with 2-3 years of professional experience (or equivalent combination).
- Skills: Exceptional research, analysis, and communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
- Flexibility: Willingness to work outside standard hours during urgent crisis events.
- Teamwork & Organization: Strong multitasking abilities and a knack for collaborating in remote, multicultural settings.
- Administrative Excellence: Proven experience with office administration and organizational support.
