Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?RBC Global Asset Management Inc. (RBC GAM) is the manager of the Phillips, Hager & North (PH&N) investment funds and RBC Funds, with over $700 billion in assets under management. The Vancouver-based PH&N Alternative Investments team manages approximately $12 billion in assets primarily in the $11 billion PH&N High Yield Bond Fund and the $1 billion PH&N Absolute Return Fund (a multi-strategy hedge fund). The team is led by Hanif Mamdani, Head of Alternative Investments at RBC GAM who has been with the firm for 27 years (after spending 10 years in NY in investment banking and proprietary trading at Salomon Brothers and Credit Suisse).The PH&N Alternatives Group is well known for its solid long term performance over the past 25 years driven by its detailed investment process and strong trading acumen.
