Requisition ID: 214077Join a purpose driven winning team, committed to results, in an inclusive and high-performing culture.Purpose:Contributes to the overall success of Asset Servicing operations in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, by ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial instruments while supporting team objectives and maintaining compliance with regulations and internal policies.Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

  • Process and reconcile fixed income and equity payments, including coupons, interest, and maturities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Review and validate data from multiple sources including depositories and issuers
  • Generate and analyze reports to ensure accurate payment processing and identify discrepancies
  • Collaborate with team members and provide cross-training on operational procedures
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Monitor and escalate risk-related issues in accordance with bank policies
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and implement operational changes
  • Support team members during peak periods and handle ad-hoc requests

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? – We’d love to work with you if you have:

  • Business/Finance degree preferred
  • Experience in asset servicing, securities operations or custody operations environment
  • Strong understanding of fixed income and equity instruments
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements in asset servicing preferred
  • Experience with financial market systems and platforms (Broadridge experience preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools as well as automation tools preferred (VBA, SQL, or Python) (VBA, SQL or Python)
