Ensures all activities conducted follow governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:
- Ensures the accurate collection, management and timely processing of DRIP/DPP payments by collecting all information associated with the DRIP distribution by retrieving, reviewing and analysing CDS and bulletins for the appropriate deadlines.
- Ensuring instructions are executed on CDS one day prior to expiry date and the DRIP spreadsheet is updated and verified as they are published.
- Review the T File and AS400 for all TB memos daily to facilitate the market trades and elections.
- Balancing and processing all certificate and non-certificated payments received via spreadsheet and email.
- Determine when a bulletin should be issued on Wealthnet due to reorg change of a security.
- Follow-up to ensure the DRIP prices/shares are received within 2 weeks of the cash distributions.
- Ensure shares received are balanced with the funds withheld for reinvestment, correct prices are entered on the AS400, client’s accounts reconciled, and any discrepancies are followed through promptly.
- Coordinate and communicate information promptly with the North American Dividend Analysts by ensuring the elected quantities DRIP charges are applied to the DRIP control account and are processed correctly.
- Ensure the remaining shares are sold internally and processed accurately as required.
- Ensures that the firm’s Dividend Reinvestment activities are maintained and controlled by performing the necessary procedures required to process the payments i.e. “flag”, take away or add memo fields to the client’s accounts upon receipt of daily requests.
- Provide ongoing assistance to the department manager by updating and clearing the control accounts on a daily basis to avoid outstanding items from getting aged
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? – We’d love to work with you if you have:
- University degree in Finance/ Accounting preferred
- Prior Banking experience preferably in Capital Markets Operations
- Knowledge of DRIP/DPP payments OR Income Processing
