Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?The Corporate Client Group (“CCG”) provides financial solutions and advice to mid-market corporate clients. The team is responsible for meeting annually established targets for revenues and returns while providing advice to key partners in order to fulfill broader RBC relationship goals.The CCG Business Performance team plays a vital role in the realization of CCG’s planning, directing, and overseeing the group’s operational policies, rules, initiatives, and goals. The team supports the group’s execution of both short-term and long-term plans by implementing judgement, vision, management, and leadership.The candidate will work closely with the Business Performance team, and by extension, other individuals in CCG to help reach the group’s targets and growth mandates. The individual is expected to build and maintain excellent collaborative working relationships with partner groups and stakeholders across RBC.What do you need to succeed?Complete, maintain and enhance business performance reports for different stakeholders in CCGManage the collection, aggregation, and analysis of data across multiple groupsInterface with internal teams to determine reporting requirements & maintaining accuracy of information on multiple source systems.Working with databases, information systems to generate reports and analyze financial trendsAssist the Business Performance team with ad-hoc analysis and tasks related to ongoing projectsEnsure a continuous improvement culture with particular focus on value added processesMust have:1-3 years of experience in a professional financial analysis or reporting roleUndergraduate degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or equivalentStrong quantitative and analytical skills with an ability to drive insights from financial dataAdvanced knowledge and experience with using MS Office applications (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint) and working with databasesAbility to work in a high-pace and demanding environment by fulfilling the data and reporting needs for managementAbility to perform well under pressure, meet time sensitive deadlines, prioritize work and multi-task while working on multiple projectsCollaborative and supportive attitudeProfessional oral and written communication skillsStrong attention to detailNice to have:Experience with financial reporting and/or data analysisAdvanced excel skills such as VBA, Macros and automating reportsWhat’s in it for you?
