Analyst III is responsible for the planning and execution of day-to-day and period-end Treasury activities including managing the company’s cash flow forecast, ensuring compliance with company, department and internal controls. The Senior Analyst takes a leading role in maintaining and optimizing the treasury management system and assists with other Treasury operation activities.#LI-HybridAccountabilities

  • Develop and maintain a 13-week rolling liquidity forecast. Analyze variances and provide insights to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate effectively with Tax, Legal, Project Finance, and Accounting teams and assist in the preparation and execution of funds flow steps.
  • Prepare comprehensive global cash position reports and monitor and track cash investment activities.
  • Oversee all contractually required payments and ensure the timely execution such payments (interest, principal, and dividends) in accordance with the underlying contractual agreements.
  • Maintain compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) regulations and implement and follow proper controls within the department.
  • Forecast credit facility draws, repayments, and rollovers and Optimize credit facility utilization.
  • Identify opportunities for efficient global cash movements. Document intercompany loans and facilitate cross-border transactions.
  • Manage bank account opening and closing procedures and the associated KYC procedures.
  • Act as the focal point of contact during quarterly and annual audits and collaborate closely with internal and external auditors.
  • Work closely with accounting and financial reporting teams and assist in month-end entries and intercompany transactions.
  • Support the Senior Manager of Treasury Operations in preparing Management Discussion and Analysis (MD&A) reports. Contribute to other internal and external reporting functions related to treasury operations
  • Assist in streamlining the working capital with collaboration with other departments including regional finance team and accounts payables

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • CPA or CPA candidate is a requirement
  • Enrollment in the CFA program would be an asset.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency with Microsoft Excel (advanced).
  • Proven experience in treasury management, financial analysis, and compliance.
  • Strong accounting and reporting knowledge, specially cash accounting
  • Experience with treasury management applications Kyriba and Bloomberg would be an asset.
  • Experience with SAP, SAC and HFM would be an asset.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
