Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?You will settle and / or process all transactions assigned on a daily basis in a timely and accurate manner with a primary focus on US Treasuries. All responsibilities carried out in accordance with Code of Conduct, RBC values and Guiding Principles ensuring adherence to Privacy principles.What will you do?Process the settlements of US Fixed Income Securities and US Treasuries and handle all trade exceptions on a timely basisReconcile cash and position breaks related to settlementsWork constructively with teams across multiple business entities in a fast paced environmentAid in managing volumes and organizing workflowRemain up to date on a number of desks so as to be able to back fill throughout the yearPosses good knowledge of the products and systems required to accomplish daily responsibilities (BDC, Nexen, APEX, ICI IMPACT, RIMMS)Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, standards and guidelines instructions and ensures processes and controls are in place to minimize operations riskOn an ongoing basis will assist Manager, US Securities Settlements with any ad hoc requirements / tasksWhat you need to succeed?Strong preference will be given to candidates who are bilingual in French0 – 1 year of prior relevant experienceStrong communication skillsAbility to work independently and to solve problems using knowledge and experienceGood working knowledge of internal trading, accounting, and settlement systemsWhat’s in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
