Who you are:
The Analytics Engineer at CIEE is a vital member of the Analytics team, with responsibilities equally divided between data modeling within the analytics layer of our data warehouse and executing advanced data analysis tasks. This role requires a blend of skills in building scalable data models and pipelines, coupled with experience in data analysis and visualization. Collaborating with business owners, the Analytics Engineer will translate complex data into actionable insights to drive strategic decisions and project success.

What you’ll do:
- Design and maintain effective data models within the analysis layer of the data warehouse, ensuring they support extensive data analysis
- Build and oversee data pipelines for both real-time and batch processing, focusing on efficiency, data quality, and integrity
- Collaborate with business owners to understand their needs and develop data strategies that align with organizational objectives
- Lead data visualization tool transitions, adapting to changing business requirements and technological advancements
- Create compelling data visualizations that efficiently communicate complex data to a wide range of stakeholders
- Conduct thorough data analysis for various projects, providing actionable insights and recommendations
- Ensure all data practices are secure, compliant, and adhere to privacy regulations
- Continuously seek process improvements in data architecture and analytics to enhance performance and insight generation
- Stay updated with industry trends in data engineering and analysis, adopting new technologies and methodologies as needed.
What you’ll bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in data engineering and analysis
- Proficiency in SQL and Python with the ability to write complex scripts and queries
- Demonstrated experience in data modeling and building efficient data pipelines
- Demonstrated experience with utilizing external API’s for data extraction
- Strong experience in creating data visualizations (PowerBI/Tableau/Domo) and conducting data analysis for projects
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualification:
- Master’s degree in a relevant field
- Familiarity with cloud-based data warehousing solutions
- Demonstrated experience with company migration from one visualization tool to another
- Experience with API creation
- Experience with operationalizing machine learning models
