Job description
As an (Angular) Software Developer in our Identification Systems Group, you will play a crucial role in the design, development and maintenance of the software applications that underpin our suite of identity solutions for our customer in the Caribbean. As part of a cross-functional team of Developers, Testers, and DBAs, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality web applications using Angular. You will work closely with our back-end designers and developers to deliver a seamless user experience.WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU

WHAT YOU WILL DOSoftware Development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, develop and maintain new interfaces and features based on system requirements documents
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and work closely with back-end developers to enhance the user experience
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that follows Angular best practices and CBN code standards and guidelines
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Troubleshoot and identify root causes of software issues and resolve defects and performance issues in a timely manner
Collaboration and Communication
- Participate in regular code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge with team members
- Create and maintain technical documentation to facilitate knowledge sharing
Continuous Learning and Improvement
- Stay current with the latest industry trends, technologies and best practices to continuously improve your skills
- Evaluate and recommend new tools or technologies that can enhance development processes or team productivity
QUALIFICATIONSKnowledge and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering (or similar program) or an equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience
- Knowledge of the following:
- Object-oriented programming principles
- Three-tier client-server architecture
- 4+ years of Angular development experience
- Experience with RESTful APIs and web services
Technology
- Programming: JavaScript, TypeScript, SASS, SCSS, CSS, HTML
- Frameworks: Angular
- Database: PostgreSQL, Oracle
- Tools: Jira, Git
