Who you are:
The Application and Testing Specialist is a critical team member focused on assessing how business units use and maximize the value of existing IT systems. Key responsibilities include taking the lead on testing new and existing functionality, as well as managing ticket intake and issue resolution through JIRA. This individual is expected to have excellent communication skills, a knack for troubleshooting and tracking down elusive issues, and a desire to work in collaboration with Product Managers, Business Analysts, and development engineers
What you’ll do:
- Become an expert in CIEE’s software systems and lines of business
- Take the lead in creating and documenting test cases for existing and new functionality
- Perform quality assurance (QA) and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Document and create training to support users and stakeholders in adopting CIEE’s systems
- Be an active member of an agile team(s) and follow the Scrum framework
- Monitor the JIRA Application Support queue to ensure issues and questions are triaged and addressed in a timely, satisfactory manner
- Work side by side with engineering as well as multiple business units
- Assist in developing and documenting business requirements
- Create reports, dashboards, and metrics to showcase outcomes
What you’ll bring:
- Bachelor’s degree or related field
- Excellent written and oral communication skills – including the ability to summarize and present complex information to all levels of the business

- Experience and competence in the analysis and comprehension of data
