Providing application support you will also be required to participate in or undertake the technical analysis, specification, estimation, development, implementation, and support of software solutions, working with business users, third parties, and other BBS-IT colleagues, as appropriateHow you’ll help us make health happen:There will be a wide range of technical accountabilities and activities performed by the job holder depending on the specific discipline e.g. development, support and environment Configuration.Providing 2nd line technical support – you’ll help on application, operational and project issues as they arise in order to ensure the smooth running of the supported applications, processes and projects on a day-to-day basisImpact assess and validate technical solutions with guidanceParticipate in the documentation of technical solutionsPerform proof of concepts to ensure end to end solutions are fit for purposeWork within the application delivery standards, development methodologies and strategic architecture frameworksProvide input to projects and solution delivery teams regarding the technologies within their domainTake part in implementation activities, change control and release planningTake ownership for resolving IT related problems within their domain, which directly or indirectly impact on the operational services or developmentEstablish and maintain credibility and working relationships with other IT teams, being an ambassador for IT within the business community, supporting a customer service culture.Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:

  • Experience in Microsoft Dynamics CRM
  • Experience in C# is an advantage but not essential
  • IT graduate or equivalent experience working in an IT service delivery role
  • Knowledge and experience of IT technologies
  • Strong communication skills, good team player
  • Basic understanding of SDLC
