Our family of more than 200 environmental, engineering and technical services businesses works together to provide practical solutions to some of the greatest challenges societies have ever faced.We are now hiring for an Apprentice Data Analyst to join the CRM Support Team on a full time basis, hybrid working from our Tonbridge office in Kent, Monday – Friday (core office hours 9am – 5.30pm).About the Apprenticeship:
Course: Level 4 Data Analyst Apprenticeship
Course length: 16 months
Course provider: Firebrand (part of BPP Education Group)You will join RSK as a Data Analyst Apprentice whilst also enrolling in Firebrand’s Data Analyst Level 4 Apprenticeship Programme.The broad purpose of your occupation is to work within RSK’s CRM support team, helping them to cleanse and transform data, run reports and perform data analysis. Day to day tasks will vary but your main tasks are outlined below. You will be joining a very small, friendly team who will support you in your role and with your learning. You may also work closely with the ERP Systems team. The contract is for 16 months however the CRM support team will be expanding in the near future and will strongly consider offering a permanent position to any apprentice who has proven themselves to succeed in their role.Key Responsibilities:
- Grow and develop comprehensive understanding of company goals, needs and processes
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and different team members to define their data needs and elicit data requirements
- Design, develop and maintain workflows, automations and system changes aimed to better capture data to meet business requirements and goals
- Clean, transform and organise large datasets to meet the exacting standards of both the company’s CRM instance and reporting models
- Perform in depth data analysis and generate insightful reports to identify patterns and trends for various group departments
- Create visualisations, dashboards and written copy to communicate complex data insights in plain language for a technical and non-technical audience
- Perform quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy and integrity of data recorded in CRM
- Stay informed on current industry trends and best practices and provide teachings of industry knowledge to immediate team members
- Perform data migrations for the company’s CRM instance
- Provide recommendations to both enrich data and improve data integrity
- Provide teaching and support to staff on use of CRM and any plug-ins as well as providing analytical support to internal stakeholders
Person Specification & Entry Requirements:
- Have an understanding of basic IT and its application in business
- Competent user of Microsoft Office especially Excel
- Strong communication, interpersonal and active listening skills
- A high level of self-motivation and flexible approach
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to manage own workload
- An eagerness to learn
- A minimum of 5 GCSEs (including English and Maths at Grade 4 (C) or above) or A-Levels or a Level 3 qualification (apprenticeship or BTEC in a relatable subject)
- Not in full time education
- Must be a UK resident to qualify for apprenticeship scheme
- Minimum age 16 to qualify for apprenticeship scheme
- Desirable – CRM Systems experience
- Desirable – knowledge of Data Analysis
- Desirable – understanding query languages such as SQL
- Desirable – understanding of relational database concepts
Salary & Benefits:
