An opportunity has arisen to join the Transformation & Programme Team delivering the project and programme governance oversight of the Corporate Programme of work across West Berkshire.This role will be offered as a joint apprenticeship [20%] and practical work [80%] role, which will involve assisting in the provision of comprehensive administrative support to the Transformation and Programme Team in order to support the functions of Strategy, ICT & Governance. The workload is varied and the postholder will be expected to work with colleagues to ensure the overall team priorities for the day are achieved. The postholder will need to provide assistance in developing and supporting administrative, M365, PMM and other systems and processes that are Service-specific.The role will require a high level of attention to detail around the input, capture, collation, verification and sharing of data and information relating to a variety of projects, programmes of work and BAU, for both the direct Transformation and Programme team, as well as for other teams and Members within the Council.This post supports the administrative and systems technology functions for the Corporate Programme Office (CPO) team of 6 staff, plus a Digital Infrastructure team of 3 staff; all of whom fall under the core Transformation and Programme Team.Individuals who enjoy technology, systems and attention to detail will be best suited for this challenging but rewarding role.As part of this exciting opportunity, you’ll have the chance to undertake an 18-month Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship to further develop your skillsWest Berkshire Council offer excellent employment benefits such as:
