Job Description:We are offering a permanent employment opportunity in the retail industry based in Vancouver, British Columbia. The role is for an AR Accountant where the focus will be on processing customer credit applications, maintaining customer credit records, and resolving customer inquiries. This role also involves monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action.Responsibilities:
- Accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications.
- Maintenance of precise customer credit records.
- Addressing customer inquiries and resolving them promptly.
- Monitoring customer accounts and initiating appropriate action.
- Execution of accounting entries and account reconciliation.
- Handling B2B collections and commercial collections.
- Conducting cash applications and adjusting journal entries.
- Proficiency with Quickbooks Online and month-end close procedures.
- Managing bank reconciliations.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in Accounting Entries
- Experience with Account Reconciliation
- Strong knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Experience in B2B collections
- Familiarity with Collections – Commercial
- Proficient in Cash Applications
- Experience with Quickbooks Online is preferred
- Ability to perform Journal Entries
- Experience with Adjusting Journal Entries
- Familiarity with Month End Close procedures
- Experience in Bank Reconciliations
- Retail industry experience is a plus
Expected salary
$19.79 – 22.91 per hour
