Accounts Receivable – CollectionsFree Personal Trainer, On Site Restaurant, CPA Support and Pension Plan!We are looking for an experienced AR specialist to join our client – a well known logistics company in Canada and the US. This position will have a heavy emphasis on collections, vendor management, following up on past due accounts and will work closely with the Accounting Manager to solve outstanding payments.Location: Surrey – On SiteAdvantages

As an Accounts Receivable – Collections Specialist in Surrey you will:-Proactively follow up on overdue accounts to ensure timely payments and identify potential delinquencies.
-Maintain customer accounts within agreed-upon terms, ensuring compliance and minimizing overdue balances.
-Prepare and distribute account statements to customers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
-Reconcile customer accounts as necessary, addressing discrepancies and ensuring proper account management.
-Accurately post payments received via checks, credit cards, or EFT to customer accounts.
-Occasionally handle client refunds, ensuring prompt and accurate processing.
-Perform bank runs as needed to support the finance team.Qualifications
-3+ years’ experience in accounts receivable collections.
-Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on resolution and client satisfaction.
-Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure.Summary
