Job Title: Area Sales Manager – South London & HampshireLocation: We are seeking an Area Sales Manager to join our southern commercial team in the UK. At ROCKWOOL, we work relentlessly to enrich modern living through our innovative stone wool solutions.Join us and make a difference!Your Future Team:Reporting into the Regional Sales Manager – South, you will be part of a team that is responsible for ensuring that ROCKWOOL products and systems are products of choice within the UK construction market by building on existing relationships as well as developing new relationships with distributors.What you will be doing:
- Promoting the ROCKWOOL brand to target groups
- Developing the ROCKWOOL business within the designated geographical area
- Developing tactics and account plans to capitalise on market opportunities
- Working closely with the Specification team to realise the potential of ongoing and future projects
- Utilising ROCKWOOL sales tools to log all activities (RockSell)
- Working closely with the Technical Services Team to ensure efficient and timely follow up of calculation requests
- Carrying out market research while maintaining competitor awareness
- Promoting and selling the technical details of the ROCKWOOL product range while understanding legislation and its impact
What you bring:
- Previous experience in a commercially based role
- Construction market knowledge is preferrable but not essential
- Capable of tracking work through the CRM system (RockSell)
- Knowledge of the distribution sales channel
- An out of the box way of thinking when it comes to problem solving
- Confident in using IT systems (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, CRM etc.)
- Previous experience selling a technical or solution based product is desirable but not essential
