Location: We are seeking an Area Sales Manager to join our Rockfon commercial team in the UK. This position is field-based and will be covering the following areas; Yorkshire & East Midlands

Your Future Team:
Reporting into the Regional Sales Manager – North & South West, you will be part of a team that is responsible for ensuring that Rockfon products and systems are the products of choice within the UK construction market by building on existing relationships as well as developing new relationships with distributors.
What you will be doing:
- Promoting the Rockfon brand to target groups
- Developing the Rockfon business within the designated geographical area
- Developing tactics and account plans to capitalise on market opportunities
- Working closely with the Specification team to realise the potential of ongoing and future projects
- Utilising Rockfon sales tools to log all activities (RockSell)
- Working closely with the Technical Services Team to ensure efficient and timely follow up of calculation requests
- Carrying out market research while maintaining competitor awareness
- Promoting and selling the technical details of the Rockfon product range while understanding legislation and its impact
What you bring:
- Previous experience in a commercially based role
- Construction market knowledge is preferrable but not essential
- Capable of tracking work through the CRM system (RockSell)
- Knowledge of the distribution sales channel
- An out of the box way of thinking when it comes to problem solving
- Confident in using IT systems (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, CRM etc.)
- Previous experience selling a technical or solution based product is desirable but not essential
