Teacher of Art – CrawleySeptember 2024Pay – £150 – £240Location – Crawley, West SussexContract – Part-time, Long-termAbout the School:Supply Desk are working with a ‘Good’ secondary school in Crawley with strong GCSE attainment, a happy school community, and facilities to be proud of. They are looking to appoint a committed and passionate Teacher of Art to deliver enthusiastic and engaging lessons for both Key Stage 3, 4 and 5.About the role:This role is long-term and part-time. The successful candidate will be delivering Key Stage 3, 4 and 5 lessons in Art and the varied disciplines that the department offers, contributing to the school’s positive academic performance. The school are looking for someone with thorough and up-to-date subject knowledge and skills, good classroom management and a positive approach to teaching and building relationships.The ideal candidate will:

• Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in relevant subject. A recognised teaching qualification is a plus.
• Have recent experience teaching in UK Schools
• Be a committed team player
• Proven track record of high attainment in results
• Be confident and engaging when delivering lesson content
• Have strong classroom management and rapport-building skills
• Enthusiastic in contributing to the wider school community in and out of the classroom
