You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, creating an inclusive classroom environment, and building positive relationships with students and staff.Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver dynamic and inspiring Art lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Develop and implement creative, engaging lesson plans that inspire students and foster artistic growth.
- Encourage students’ creative potential, guiding them through different art forms and techniques.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment, ensuring adherence to school policies and safeguarding standards.
- Build strong, supportive relationships with students, staff, and the school community.
- Assess and track students’ progress, providing constructive feedback to support their artistic development.
What We’re Looking For:
- A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent) with QTS.
- Experience teaching Art in UK secondary schools.
- An enhanced DBS certificate registered with the update service (or be willing to complete a new DBS).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and engage students creatively.
- A passion for the arts and a commitment to helping students develop their artistic abilities.
