My client is a global market leader who are seeking an assistant accountant to join their team.

Duties will include:

• Financial Accounting activities, including preparation and processing of Journals, Balance Sheet Account Reconciliations, elements of Inventory Accounting.
• Assist on the closing finance reviews and ensuring all follow up requests are completed on time.
• Ensuring continuous communication with key businesses contacts.
• Provide performance analysis for closing with supporting commentaries. Sales and cost of sales reporting.
• Assist in producing management reports and analysis.
• Reporting and supporting key projects, including various Audits and Ad hoc analysis.

Skills and experience required:

• ACCA, CIMA Part Qualified or AAT Qualified (looking to study further)
• Excellent communication skills
• Good analytical skills
• Relevant experience

Expected salary

£35000 per year
