For more information about Ntirety, please visitPOSITION PURPOSE:The Assistant Controller will be responsible for assisting the Controller with management of the financial operations of Ntirety and to provide accurate information to the CFO and relevant stakeholders.This will be achieved by ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting through our month end processes and ensuring that all processes are done in accordance with established practices, controls, and procedures.This is a hybrid (in-office/remote) role based in our Vancouver, BC or Chicago, IL office.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:· Assist the Controller in managing the accounting operations including the review of bank entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other accounts and journal entries· Review and enter revenue transactions, ensuring they are accurate and adhere to US GAAP and revenue recognition rules· In charge of sales and use tax filings (State Sales/Use taxes, GST/PST, etc.) ensuring that registration, filings, and remittances are performed when Nexus is established· Ensure controls and procedures are done in compliance with Company policies, US GAAP, and SOX methodologies· Perform monthly and ad-hoc variance analyses and reports to provide meaningful insights and analyses to the CFO and stakeholders· Assist with compliance (tax, government, financial audits, etc.) as required· Other related duties and required or assigned.Requirements:DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:· Degree in Business/Accounting and CPA designation, and/or minimum 5-7 years of experience of similar responsibilities. audit experience is an asset.· Excellent critical thinking skills; being able to identify, troubleshoot, and solve problems in a calm manner.· Strong communication skills by being able to speak to executives and non-accountants with ease.· Experience in high volume technology (SaaS, IT, SMB, B2B, B2C) industry or environment is an asset.· Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, etc.) required.· Strong expertise in US GAAP, SOX, and revenue recognition· Able to work well under pressure and meet set deadlines.· Experience with full-cycle accounting process, variance analysis/FP&A, and M&A is an asset.· Experience with cloud-based software such as NetSuite, Zuora, Salesforce, and Nexonia is an asset.Benefits:Ntirety is an Equal Employment Opportunity / Affirmative Action Employer (EEO/AA).Ntirety offers a competitive salary and benefits including Paid Time Off, FREE Medical to Employees, Dental, retirement plan with 401(k) match, and much more.
