We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Dietician to join our team covering HMP Bullingdon and HMP Huntercombe.HMP Bullingdon is a Category B local and resettlement men’s prison and HMP Huntercombe is Category C foreign nationals men’s prison.HoursThis role is full time, working 37.5 hours per week split as 3 days at HMP Bullingdon and 2 days at HMP Huntercombe. You must be able to travel to both sites.SalaryYou’ll receive an annual salary up to £25500 per annum – depending on experienceHow will we support you?

Candidates are required to have a Legal right to work in the UK and due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks.What you’ll be doingAs an Assistant Dietician, your responsibilities will vary. You will
- Screen patients to collect a range of qualitative and quantitative data by a range of methods
including face to face and telephone. * Deliver behaviour change weight management and self-management for long term conditionsgroup and 1:1 sessions to patients under supervision of the
dietitian. * Be responsible for collating Patient Information – including dietary information packs tosupport the education sessions delivered * Be responsible for teaching patients the skills required to change their diets and physicalactivity safely. This includes correct food hygiene, weighing, menu planning, recipe adaptation
