We are currently working with one of the world’s leading engineering and consulting groups, who are looking to hire an assistant E&P / MEP Engineer to join their always expanding engineering team in York. This position within the M&E engineering team will suit a Building Services Electrical Engineer looking to develop their skills further and demonstrate their ability to play an integral part of a team and follow instruction from the CRE & Lead Engineer.

This role can also be based out of their Birmingham, Reading or Manchester offices and benefits from the flexibility of a hybrid working approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensuring designs are completed to meet CRE/Lead Engineers requirements.
• Ensuring designs are completed to the timescales agreed with the CRE/Lead Engineer.
• Planning the allocated design works to meet the agreed timescales.
• Identify changes to the projects’ client requirements and raise the changes with the CRE/Lead Engineer.

Experience Required:

• Knowledge of electrical services design within the building services environment and or transport infrastructure, including lighting, small power, containment, earthing or fire alarms.
• Ideally experience in the use of Trimble ProDesign/Electrical OM, MicroStation and or Relux/Dialux Design Software.
• Ideally experience of working in Network Rail IP ProjectWise and/or BIM Standards.
