In the role of Assistant Financial Accountant, your primary focus will be to assist with the day-to-day accounting of one of the organisation’s entities.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Processing monthly supplier invoices with precision and accuracy.
  • Setting up efficient payment runs to ensure timely transactions.
  • Raising customer invoices to maintain a seamless billing process.
  • Assisting in the preparation of bank reconciliations for accurate financial reporting.
  • Assisting in the preparation of Capex requests and maintenance of the Fixed Asset Register.
  • Controlling the revenue generated.
  • Helping prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts, cash flows, balance sheet reports, forecasts and budgets.
  • Assisting with a range of reporting.

To be considered for the role of Assistant Financial Accountant, you will need:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, showcasing a strong understanding of financial processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge to draft and control budgets.
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines and meet financial targets.
