In addition, they are recognised as being one of the Top 25 Education and Training providers to work for.Based at HMP The Mount, you will support the Education Manager with effective management of the curriculum, ensuring needs of learners and employers are met, including delivery of Functional Skills, Personal & Social Development and work-based programmes.You will lead on functional skills quality assurance and improvement, developing and encouraging an innovative and problem-solving approach to the work of the tutors in order to raise standards and meet challenging targets in line with performance indicators.Due to the nature and scope of this role, a driving licence and access to your own transport is essential.Requirements:

  • Level 3 English & Maths
  • An expert in your field with substantial experience
  • Experience of delivering training
  • A teaching or assessing qualification (QTLS etc) is ESSENTIAL
  • Ability to display a wide range of training methods to engage learners
  • Excellent organisational, planning and prioritisation skills coupled with the ability to manage own workload.
  • Knowledge and understanding of policies and procedures relating to Safeguarding, Equality and Diversity, Health and Safety and Data Protection of all learners.
  • Ability to engage with and motivate learners from all backgrounds and respond appropriately to their individual needs.
  • Valid DBS.
