Posting Text The College of Liberal Arts at Black Hills State University invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor of Political Science. A strong candidate will have a broad background in American government and political theory and will be able to teach courses in the major and in the general education program.

DUTIES:
-Teaching eight courses per year, several of which may be offered online, including American Government, Introduction to Political Theory, Constitutional Law, The Presidency, and advanced courses in the field.
-Advising students
-Scholarly activities
-Service

REQUIREMENTS:
-A PhD in Political Science.
-ABDs will be considered on a term-contract basis, and the PhD must be completed within two years of appointment.
