Join us to do the best work of your career as an Assistant Project Manager in our Boston, MA office (Hybrid role, 5-minute walk from South Station.)As an Assistant PM, you will be partnering with Project Managers and Engineers on large scale mission critical data center projects. Expand your skill set by shadowing project managers while gaining knowledge across multiple disciplines and project oversight. You will be responsible for supporting the PM in planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.Have a voice by working outside the box with the way we approach projects at Vanderweil.Some of your responsibilities include the following:

  • Support Project Managers, Engineers, Subcontractors, and field personnel
  • Coordinate deliverables and design reviews
  • Assisting with assembly of project documents, drawings, and coordinate distribution
  • Maintaining files and documentation control for both internal network and client folders
  • Meet schedules and budgets on projects that can’t fail.

Essential Skills & Requirements

  • 2 plus years of related background.
  • Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in Project Management, Engineering, Technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication skills as you are expected to communicate effectively with clients (client facing), team members and stakeholders.
  • Detail oriented with ability to prioritize and complete deadline driven tasks efficiently.
  • Analytical thinker with initiative to learn and adapt to various client expectations.
  • MS Office knowledge, proficient with formatting and working with templates in Excel and Word.
