Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?The Equity Derivatives Full-Stack Developer is responsible for building pre-trade analytical tools in support of RBC Capital Markets Equity Derivatives businesses. This includes using their React/Python skills to add new or extend existing functionality in our suite of applications, in addition to contributing to the underlying quant platform that is shared between both Technology and Front Office teams.What will you do?Develop tools for risk analysis and reporting, market data visualization, and parameter marking within Equity Derivatives groupWork directly with Traders & Quants on new functionality, from requirements gathering through implementation & delivery.Design innovative and performant solutions to meet the current and future needs of the business.Drive the retirement of legacy Excel/VBA & Python based tools.What do you need to succeed?Must Have:Strong Python programming skillsExperience in React/Typescript developmentSolid understanding of Equity DerivativesGood communication & problem-solving skillsAbility to work directly with Front Office personnelWhat’s in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
