You will be focused on supporting the origination and administration of our products, and job tasks will include pricing various derivative-based and other structures. Details on your work arrangement (proportion of on-site and remote work) will be discussed at the time of your interview.How You’ll SucceedRelationship building – Assist the structuring team with their daily activities and administrative tasks, including pro-actively generating product ideas that are value-add to our client-base. Quickly and efficiently respond to pricing requests from sales staff and clients. Create presentations and perform various analytical tasks and analysis in support of new product development such as back-testing. Assisting with origination and management of the documentation process. Tracking noteworthy structured products released domestically and internationallyDemonstrate initiative – On your own initiative, develop product knowledge through directed or self-directed study. Be prepared to cross train when the appropriate time arises, as suggested by management. Share any developed skills, knowledge, ideas with management and other members of Global Markets. Attend learning sessions held by the Trading Room as requiredWho You AreYou have an Undergraduate University degree (Engineering or Math preferred) with 2+ years of knowledge and work experience in Derivatives, Interest Rates, FX, Equity or other institutional products. International Capital Markets experience would be an assetYou give meaning to data. Excellent quantitative skills. Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills. Excellent analytical and conceptual skillsYou know that details matter. Proven ability to pay close attention to detail. Efficient organizational skills to respond to shifting priorities on simultaneous projectsYou put our clients first. Able to quickly acquire knowledge, to demonstrate competence and to add value to the maintenance of internal processes and client relationshipsYou communicate effectively. Proven ability to communicate complex financial informationYou are technically savvy. A working knowledge of PC applications (Excel, Word, Power Point, Salesforce). VBA knowledge an asset.
