Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?
Private Trading Office (PTO) is a multi-billion dollar business within RBC Dominion Securities (DS), offering bespoke trading services to Ultra High Net Worth clients (UHNW). Aligned with the Enterprise Strategic Client Group (ESC), the Private Trading Office focuses mainly on servicing the complex needs of high value clients of strategic importance to RBC and the UHNW client segment.
We are located in Toronto ON and looking for an experienced Associate to join our growing team to assist in managing all aspects of the day to day operations, service client accounts, and related compliance matters. The successful candidate should be fully licensed and have relevant experience in the brokerage industry. Please visit http://www.rbcds.com for more information.What will you do?Responsible for client onboarding (new account opening and documentation), service client accounts on daily requests, and providing exceptional client service.Engage with Advisors, Private Bankers, Enterprise Strategic Client Group and others across RBC on client onboarding, AML/KYC related, or other client requests.Ensure accurate and timely updates of all necessary documentation in compliance with internal controls and industry regulatory requirements. Maintain complete and up-to-date client files within appropriate systems.Provide proactive client service with a focus on problem resolution and attention to details. Liaise with back office, operations, compliance and other functional groups to address client requests, escalate and resolve issues, as well as implement processes and bespoke client solutionsProvide assistance and support on other business and client related requests, as well as other administrative tasks / ad hoc assignments as required.Follow up on client trades to ensure proper settlement and delivery, as well, process trade-aways for client accounts.What do you need to succeed?Must HaveMinimum 3-5 years’ experience in a branch brokerage environmentCSC, CPH requiredStrong experience with RBC DS products and services, technology & applications, compliance procedures, operations, and organizational awarenessExcellent communication skills, outstanding client service, professionalism; positive and a ‘can do’ attitudeExceptional organizational skills, analytical and time management skills, with the ability to manage complexity and shifting prioritiesSuperior attention to detail and accuracyTakes initiative, resilient, with ability to navigate the organization effectively to solve complex problems with a drive for business and passion for clients.
