Look no further! CWB Maxium is seeking an Associate, Program Finance. The Program Finance group provides wholesale structured financing through private securitization, asset-backed term debt, and revolving credit facilities to non-bank lenders and financial institutions. Clients range from traditional asset finance companies to newer Fintech enterprises.You will play a crucial role in supporting our Program Finance Account Managers in various aspects of their work. You will have the opportunity to work on highly structured transactions and gain well-rounded expertise in program management.What you’ll be doingIdentify and mitigate financial risks in existing and proposed programs through structured finance to maintain expected losses at nilIncrease awareness of CWB Group’s business offerings to enhance account penetration and drive corporate sales revenues.Coordinate with clients to ensure timely receipt of necessary and ad-hoc information for annual reviewsAssist in preparing customer Discussion Papers, new Credit Applications, and Interim and Annual customer credit reviews for presentation to appropriate credit authority levelsPrepare various monthly and quarterly Program customer reports as requiredAssist in the implementation and ongoing use of new software systems used to track fundings at the individual loan levelCoordinate with the Audit Manager and Compliance Manager to ensure client findings are alignedSuccessful incumbentBachelor’s Degree in commerce, finance, accounting or a related field of studyMinimum of 3 years of experience in financial services, preferably within commercial lending or financial analysis functionsStrong analytical skills with a proven ability to assess risk and make informed recommendationsStrong business development focus, with a keen eye for identifying growth opportunitiesExceptional negotiation, influencing, and collaboration skills to work effectively with different teamsProficiency in computer systems and business modeling toolsWhy work with us?Your success is our obsession!
