You will provide business and financial advice and manage a portfolio of commercial clients you will support as they manage and grow their enterprises. As a Relationship Manager, you will deliver top-tier financial advice, while balancing risk policy to deliver solutions tailored to individual client needs. By identifying opportunities to grow your clients and partnering with other RBC advisors and specialists, you will contribute to creating an experience that clients appreciate and value.What will you do?Grow and deepen client relationships through delivery of value-added, tailored financial advice to meet their needsProactively contact clients, gather insights through client discovery, understand their needs and changing circumstances and ongoing satisfaction with all of RBCPlan and prioritize client and market activities, find opportunities and make introductions to RBC partners to fulfill clients’ business and personal financial needs to win as One RBCManage risk and exercise due diligence in all banking procedures and develop appropriate action plans in response to concerns/risksChampion digital enablement and be an advocate of RBC mobile and online applications; enabling our clients to engage with RBC through the channel of choiceBe on your client’s path, visiting your clients on-site to gain a thorough understanding of their business objectives and operationsWhat do you need to succeed?Must-haveExperience in exceptional client relationship management and client serviceAbility to complete needs-based discovery and solution development to provide Commercial clients with advice for their day-to-day banking operationsExcellent communication, time management and organizational skillsExperience with emerging communications and technology (i.e., web-based meetings, social media, Digital Banking and Mobile Applications)Bilingualism (English and French) required, as you will regularly serve our clients with English and French-speaking needs.Nice-to-haveCredit skills and knowledge, including an understanding of risk assessments, financial analysis, credit structuring, and presentation of banking solutionsFamiliarity with Commercial Banking systemsKnowledge of a broad array of business and personal financial products and servicesUniversity degree, ideally in commerce, business administration, or related experienceWhat’s in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
