What is the opportunity?

The Associate within U.S. CFO Operations Office, Data Strategy & Analytics group will support driving various strategic initiatives across all verticals within the US Finance team. The candidate will assist in the preparation of materials for senior management and the Board of Directors, assist in policy analysis, and focus on regulatory and business innovation initiatives across U.S Finance.

What you will do?

  • Drive and contribute to key strategic initiatives within U.S. CFO Group
  • Provide support for finance Related Regulatory exams and Internal Audit exams
  • Review and track compliance to supervisory guidelines, internal policies, industry best practices, and trends
  • Partner across functions and with regulatory report owners to collect current state requirements to support the adoption of various strategic solutions
  • Prepare materials for senior management and Board of Director meetings
  • Execute business analyst responsibilities, as needed, providing analysis, assessment, research, and documentation of business requirements
  • Manage all front-to-back aspects of a project to ensure that milestones are accomplished within a set deadline
  • Perform risk assessments in order to identify potential risks/opportunities and recommend mitigation strategies
  • Perform additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives
  • Manage complex business requirements, coordinate across multiple teams in an fast-paced environment, and prioritize work to meet deadlines

What you need to succeed?

Must Have

  • Bachelor’s Degree, with a focus in Communications, Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience
  • Experience writing and editing requirement documentation and project plans
  • Strong consultative skills desired / preferred, inclusive of presentation, facilitation, structured thinking and project management experience
  • Detail-oriented and operationally savvy, action-oriented individual who continually strives for improvement
  • Independent thinker with ability to deliver results with minimal oversight
  • Strong abilities in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, and coaching skills
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities

Nice to Have

  • Some professional experience in a Capital Markets environment, preferably with a focus in Finance, Risk or Regulatory Reporting, preferred but not required
