Audit and Accounts SeniorCentral London (Hybrid )£55,000- £59,000We are delighted to be supporting our client, a well-established firm of chartered accountants with offices in Mayfair, in their search for an Audit and Accounts professional to join the team. We are seeking a detail-oriented Audit Senior to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services and possess excellent analytical skills. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the financial management of the organizationRole Requirements:Oversee audit assignments, managing teams of one or more trainees to meet reporting deadlines and client agreed deadlines.
Drafting and finalising year end accounts for Limited Companies and LLP’s from start to finish under FRS 102, Section 1A and FRS 105, ready for client and management review.
Preparing corporation tax computation calculations and basic tax planning.
Dealing with the preparation and completion of VAT returns, including EC Sales and Intrastat returns.
Use cloud accounting tools to process transactions, prepare and post journals, update all ledgers, perform bank reconciliations ready for monthly reporting processes.
Personal Requirements –ACA or ACCA qualified.
Knowledge of Sage, Xero, Quickbooks and CCH including Accounts Production and Audit -Automation useful but not essential
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
CPA or CIA certification preferre
Proven experience in conducting internal audits
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
