Operating across multiple locations, the company prioritises risk management, compliance, and internal audit to uphold the highest standards of business integrity.As a Risk, Audit & Compliance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering risk management, audit, and compliance activities across the business. You will ensure these activities focus on value creation and addressing critical risks while embedding robust governance frameworks.Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the enhancement and implementation of the Group’s risk management framework, ensuring key risks are identified, assessed, and managed effectively.
  • Leading risk meetings with key business units and senior stakeholders to evaluate risk exposure and implement necessary control improvements.
  • Developing and rolling out company-wide policies, procedures, and awareness programmes to manage legal and regulatory compliance risks.
  • Contributing to the Group’s response to regulatory requirements, including the ECCTA, ensuring appropriate fraud prevention controls are in place.
  • Managing and delivering internal audit activities to provide assurance on the effectiveness of internal controls.
  • Maintaining the audit universe, ensuring risk-based independent assurance is directed at critical business areas in alignment with the Group’s evolving risk profile.
  • Developing and refining the Group’s business continuity framework to mitigate potential disruptions.
  • Leading whistleblowing investigations, gathering and analysing evidence, and presenting findings in concise reports.
  • Advising business units and corporate functions on process, control, and efficiency improvements.

  • Professional experience in external or internal audit, risk management, or assurance.
  • A degree-level qualification, complemented by a relevant professional certification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, IIA, IRM).
  • Strong knowledge of risk management techniques and internal control frameworks (e.g. COSO).
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a complex, multi-functional organisation, engaging with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to distil key insights and present them clearly.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, capable of influencing senior leadership.
  • A proactive approach to continuous improvement, with a keen interest in best practices and innovation.

  • A salary within the £55,000 – £65,000 banding depending on experience
  • Discretionary bonus of up to 20%
