In our pursuit of excellence, we are establishing a TIPS Centre of Excellence for Automation Testing and are actively seeking an experienced leader to drive this initiative forward.Position Overview:This role demands a seasoned professional with a robust automation testing background, strategic vision, and the ability to build and lead a highly skilled team. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define and implement best practices, tools, and methodologies to ensure the efficiency and reliability of our software solutions.Key Responsibilities:This role is a mixture of both a strategic approach requiring the implementation of strategy and planning as well as hands on test authoring and running of tests. Automation exists in the project but there will be a requirement to assess what has gone before and reorganize as you see fit.Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and implement a strategic roadmap for testing, aligning it with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and define automation testing goals and deliverables.

Process Improvement:

  • Define and implement standardized automation testing processes and methodologies to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance automation testing practices based on industry trends and emerging technologies.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with development, quality assurance, and operations teams to integrate automation testing into the software development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate to share knowledge and promote a culture of excellence across the organization.

Your Transferable Skill and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in automation testing with a deep understanding of automation testing tools and methodologies.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to build, lead, and motivate a high-performing team.
  • Strong strategic thinking and planning skills, with the ability to align automation testing initiatives with business goals.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across different teams and levels of the organization

Knowledge and experience of these tools would be useful:

  • UFT/QTP (BPT, Hybrid, Keyword

etc.) * Selenium (TestNG, Keyword, Page Object etc.)Protractor * Cucumber (BDD) Oracle, MySQL Database.

  • Postman, SOAPUI,
  • Rest Assured.
  • JIRA,
  • AWS,
  • TestRail,
  • Confluence, QC (ALM)
